About Kennedy Meadows Wild Canine Conservation
Our Mission
We are a USDA certified facility. We are going through our last phases of becoming CFW permitted to exhibit, and have plans to be open by next summer and acquire the animals we plan to exhibit. Our purpose is to preserve various wild canid species of the world, including those that are endangered and threatened. Wolves, foxes, and coyotes are amongst some of the species that we specialize in. Our conservation effort includes educating the public about how these apex predators promote a strong and stable ecosystem, why it is so important to preserve the different species and subspecies, and why we should restore their populations to their native areas where they have been eradicated. We offer educational opportunities for the public through our tours, where you have the opportunity see our animals in person and be hands on with our ambassador animals. We also offer training opportunities for those who wish to participate or volunteer at the facility. Lastly, we also participate in local rescue and placement needs. Any programs or products offered are for the purpose of fund raising to support the animals and our cause. We invite you to come visit, and bring your friends and family. We are a 501C3 non-profit. All donations are tax deductable and are contributed to the food, vet care, and other expenses of the animals and construction/ maintenance of the facility. We have a lot of work to do. If you wish to contribute to our mission, please visit our fundraiser:
